About This Image

[Publisher: Caxton Printers, Caldwell, ID] First Edition Hardcover. First Edition, first printing. SIGNED, LOCATION (California) and DATED in the year of publication by the author on the verso of the front flyleaf. Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Jacket has a half inch piece piece missing from bottom spine amd very light at corners and edges, but the dustjacket and overall book is the finest we've ever seen for this title. Brigman was an important and influential early photographer, who, in 1906, became the only photographer living west of the Mississippi to be named a Fellow of the Photo-Secession. This collection of poetry and photography was published a year before her death, making signed copies scarce, particularly in jacket.
