This is a panoramic photograph of an African American Army Engineer Battalion - and a German Shepard dog - taken after WW II in August of 1949 at their station post in San Luis Obispo, CA.

At the bottom it reads: BN Staff 1404 ENG (C) BN - Camp San Luis Obispo August 1949. And "Photo by Lennie" - P675. There is nothing written on retro.

Some of the men have war medal tags on their shirt.
