Photo L.A., the longest running art fair in Los Angeles history, celebrates its 20th Anniversary on January 13-16, 2011, at the historic Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Photo L.A.is one of the largest photo-based art fairs in the country. Highlights of the 20th Anniversary edition will include special events and lectures before and throughout the fair, ensuring that the Photo L.A. brand will be promoted across the local cultural landscape.

Its innovative collecting seminars, which offer an exclusive walk through of the fair before public hours, have been a major part of the fair's programming and has proved to be very popular with collectors and curators.

The opening reception benefiting the Wallis Annenberg department of photography at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) will be held on Thursday night, January 13 from 6-9 p.m.
