Photographer's name, address, number and title of photograph, and original price back in the 1920s ($15.00), all in ink in photographer's hand on the verso of the mount. Signed in pencil on old overmat. Taken between 1923 and 1924. Edwards name in pencil on back of print itself. Edwards was a member of Group f/64, Camera Pictorialists of Los Angeles, the Oakland Camera Club and the Pittsburgh Salon. The Oakland Museum and Amon Carter Museum both have entensive holding by Edwards, although his work is also held by the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Hallmark Collection, the San Francisco and New York Museums of Modern Art, the George Eastman House, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the California Museum of Photography.
